Homemade hummus with vegetable sticks

Creamy hummus made from chickpeas, tahini and lemon, served with colourful vegetable sticks. A brilliant everyday snack.

Ingredients (per serving)
Method
  1. 1 Drain and rinse chickpeas. Reserve the liquid (aquafaba).
  2. 2 Blend chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic and olive oil until very smooth.
  3. 3 Add aquafaba a tablespoon at a time to reach desired consistency.
  4. 4 Season with salt and cumin. Drizzle with olive oil to serve.
  5. 5 Cut carrots, celery and red pepper into sticks.
