This Privacy Policy explains how Nutriofia (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data. We are committed to complying with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Nutriofia is a product of The Argarth Collective, which is the data controller responsible for your personal data under this policy.
The Argarth Collective is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with trusted processors (e.g., hosting, analytics, email delivery) under contracts that require them to protect your data and act only on our instructions. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
Where data leaves the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) are in place to protect your information.
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above. While your account is active — whether on a free or paid plan — your data is retained so the service can function as intended. If you cancel a paid subscription, your account moves to free membership and your data (food logs, weight logs, notes, and profile) is kept so your history is available if you return. If you would like your account and data permanently deleted, you can request this at any time by emailing hello@nutriofia.com and we will action it within 30 days.
We may also use anonymised and aggregated data — data from which all personal identifiers have been removed — for nutritional research and service improvement, such as understanding common nutrient gaps or popular food choices across our user base. This anonymised data cannot be used to identify you personally.
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as theme), and improve performance. You can control cookies via your browser settings. Certain cookies are essential for the site to function.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. No online service can be 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Nutriofia is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date.
If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at privacy@nutriofia.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
