This Privacy Policy explains how Nutriofia (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data. We are committed to complying with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above. While your account is active — whether on a free or paid plan — your data is retained so the service can function as intended. If you cancel a paid subscription, your account moves to free membership and your data (food logs, weight logs, notes, and profile) is kept so your history is available if you return. If you would like your account and data permanently deleted, you can request this at any time by emailing hello@nutriofia.com and we will action it within 30 days.

We may also use anonymised and aggregated data — data from which all personal identifiers have been removed — for nutritional research and service improvement, such as understanding common nutrient gaps or popular food choices across our user base. This anonymised data cannot be used to identify you personally.

7. Your rights

• Access your data and receive a copy.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Delete your data (in certain circumstances).
• Restrict or object to processing (in certain circumstances).
• Data portability (receive your data in a common format).
• Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
