Chickpeas tossed in smoked paprika and cumin then roasted until completely crispy. A brilliant high-protein snack to replace crisps.

Method
  1. 1 Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. 2 Drain, rinse and thoroughly dry chickpeas with kitchen paper.
  3. 3 Toss with olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder and a pinch of salt.
  4. 4 Spread on a baking tray in a single layer.
  5. 5 Roast 25-30 minutes until completely crispy, shaking halfway through.
  6. 6 Leave to cool — they crisp further as they cool.
